My 50d came in last week so I was able to use it for all of my sessions this weekend. I really haven't had the time to figure it all out so it was a little hard with the settings and all that. I am a creature of habit and it's hard when you're fumbling around in front of a customer with a new piece of equipment. I definitely have some kinks to work out with it on my part but I do like the camera a lot. I found that the images were clearer than with my rebel. But, I have decided that it's not a camera that makes good pics, it's the user and the elements that make it all come out pretty. My next purchase will be a prime lens and then I will probably upgrade cameras again in a year. But, for now, I will practice with what I have and hope that it all works out. The good news about having 2 decent cameras is that now I can shoot weddings. I will just bring Fred along with me as my second shooter and he can use the rebel to back up anything that I might miss. We are excited about that possibility. I have always been nervous to really push the wedding thing because they are SO stressful, but I would like it if I had a helper. Here's a few from Saturday with the new toy....I have been taking this little boy's pics since he was in his mom's belly! :) Oh how time flies!
